The X-Series frac ball is a hybrid design, utilizing advanced lightweight, high strength materials to optimize performance and reliability. The X-Series will maintain high pressure performance across a full range of sizes. The X-Series is available in 1/16” increments from 0.875” to 4.500” and has a specific gravity range around 1.80, the X-Series has breaking pressures in excess of 10 ksi throughout the size range depending on engagement and frac sleeve selection. Unlike injection molded phenolic ball technologies, the layered composite sheets are held together with epoxies that significantly increase the compressive strengths. Material arrives in bricks and is then precision ground to +/- 0.001” tolerance for guaranteed performance.
